OUR BELIEFS
Statement of Faith – We Believe:
That all scripture is divinely inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16).
That God is a triune being (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), yet one God (Matt. 3:16-17, Eph. 4:6).
That you must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3).
That to be born again you must have godly sorrow which leads to repentance, believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess with you mouth that Jesus is Lord (2 Cor. 7:10, Rom. 10:9).
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and that empowerment comes when baptized in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5, 8).
In the manifestation gifts of the Holy Spirit given to each one as the Spirit wills (1 Cor. 12:7-11).
That all Christians should be water baptized to walk in newness of life (Matt. 18:19, Rom. 6:4).
That Christian development and growth comes from renewing the mind through the Word of God (Rom. 12:2).
That faith is developed and success will come by hearing and meditating on God’s Word (Rom. 10:17, Joshua 1:8).
That it is God’s will for us to prosper in all things and be in health (3 John 2).
That the corporate body is to come together regularly to worship the Lord in the corporate setting and to encourage one another in the Lord (Heb. 10:24-25, Psalm 150:1-6).
That Jesus Christ is the Head of the church and the church is subject to Him (Eph. 5:23-24).
That Jesus has given us authority over all the powers of darkness (Luke 10:19).
That Jesus has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, as gifts to the body of Christ to perfect them for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:11-12).
That Jesus will return to catch away His church (1 Thess. 4:16-17).
That all will be judged; sinners for their sin, and saints for their work here on earth (Rev. 20:11-15, 2 Cor. 5:10).
